Wearing Tradition, Layering a Life

Ise Katagami paper stencils, preserved in Ise, Mie, and the Edo Komon that embodies the chic of the Edo period.

We have taken silk, dyed carefully by artisans sheet by sheet, and fashioned it into a three-dimensional form using Japanese tailoring techniques.

At the root of this pattern lies the clover, a symbol of good fortune.
